  • Recosine Industrial Ltd Workplace studio is currently seeking an Intermediate Interior Designer with a successful track record in interiors projects. In this position, you will develop and execute appropriate design solutions as well as have overall project responsibility for client satisfaction, quality control, and financial performance.
  • Responsibilities:
    • 1. Participate in design teams on projects
    • 2. Collaborate on interiors projects, including programming client needs, conceptual and schematic design, design development, contract documents
    • 3. Coordinate with a technical team.
    • 4. Support and assist in the development of space planning concepts and creation of program documents
    • 5. Coordinate finish plans, specifications, and material selections required for construction
    • 6. Partner with Intermediate and Senior Designers in meetings with consultants, furniture dealers, product reps, and fabricators to meet overall project objectives
    • 7. Contribute to office activities, initiatives and learning programs
  • Qualifications:
    • 1. Degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited University
    • 2. Pursuing Accreditation/Registration/Licensure
    • 3. Excellent verbal and written business communication skills
    • 4. 4-9 years of relevant experience in design, with a focus on commercial interiors projects
    • 5. Basic knowledge of the design process, including FF&E, furniture systems and specifications, color and materials
    • 6. Outstanding graphic presentation and 3D visualization skills
    • 7. Computer skills to include Revit and AutoCad as well as knowledge of Adobe CS, SketchUp and 3-D Studio Max
    • 8. Flexibility to focus on a variety of project types or multiple, concurrent projects in various stages of development
    • 9. Ability to work well in a team environment
    • 10. Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly
    • 11. Strong leadership ability, organization, communication and relationship management skills
    • 12. Bachelors degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field from an accredited school

Junior and/or Intermediate FFE Designer

  • Job Description:
  • The FF&E Designer’s focus will be on sourcing, production, and documentation of the FF&E and interior finishes aspects of interior design projects, working with and under the direction of project team leaders. Documents will include furniture plans, furnishing drawings, specifications, control samples, details, etc. Specifications are done in our software, but hand drafting and AutoCAD are sometimes utilized.
  • Job Responsibilities:
    • 1. Assist the project team in sourcing, sampling and budgeting FF&E designs
    • 2. Assist the project team in documenting FF&E design on a variety of project types
    • 3. Assist the project team in producing presentation materials and in coordinating FF&E designs with vendors and other resources
    • 4. Assist the project team with selection, coordination, and documentation of interior architectural finishes
    • 5. Assist with project record-keeping
  • Job Requirements:
    • College-level degree required (interior design or related field)
    • Minimum 2 years experience (Junior Designer) and 4 years experience (Intermediate Designer)
    • Experience required in:
    • 1. Interior design presentation
    • 2. Sourcing and documenting FF&E design
    • 3. Selection & documentation of interior architectural finishes
    • Experience with AutoCAD, InDesign, SketchUp, Illustrator, Photoshop, and hand sketching.
    • Must be team-oriented, articulate, flexible, productive, able to deal successfully with BAMO team members, Principals, and outside vendors
    • Must be willing to learn, meet deadlines, and take initiative
    • Revit and 3D Rendering are a plus, but not required
